Cash Advance 101

What are the steps and requirements in getting a cash advance?
In the United States and Canada, getting a loan is quite easy, what with all the financial institutions and lending companies offering easy and hassle-free online cash advance or loan applications. Getting a loan is as easy as 1-2-3. All you need is to enter your Social Security number, and you may be able to get the money within a few minutes, or half an hour at least. Gone are the days that one has to go to the bank or lending company and talk to someone about getting a loan. No more waiting in line for your turn in queue, no need to fill out several sheets of application forms, and best of all, everything can be done in the privacy and comforts of your own home.
As long as you have a good enough credit score, employed or generating income, I'm sure there wouldn't be any issues in getting a cash advance. Some credit cards also allow you to take a percentage of the credit limit as a cash advance amount. All you have to do is go to an ATM machine that supports your credit card type and withdraw the money from there. Easy enough, isn't it?

Rewind and Play... My well kept ticket!
Just reminded me of sweet memories being able to watch at the US Open many years ago.
It's a privileged for me seeing the big stars of tennis, watching the likes of Pete Sampras, Andrei Agassi of course Boris Becker, and having the chance of a lifetime meeting them...
Really worth remembering... =)

From the US Open website...
1995Playing in only her second tournament since she was stabbed in the back in April 1993, Monica Seles roars into the women's singles final, where she and long-time rival Graf play one of the most memorable singles finals in the history of the tournament. Despite losing the second set 6-0, Graf wins her fourth US Open title and her 18th career Grand Slam title with a 7-6, 0-6, 6-3 victory. Sampras, the second seed, wins his third US Open title, defeating top-seeded Agassi, 6-4, 6-3, 4-6, 7-5, in a battle of the two previous two US Open singles champions. For the first time ever at the US Open, four players who have all been ranked No. 1 in the world reach the semifinals, as Agassi defeats Boris Becker and Sampras defeats Jim Courier.

Monte Carlo, Monaco revisited

Monaco is the world's most densely populated country at nearly 34,000 residents in only a square mile. It is also the second-smallest independent nation in the world. Monaco is the world's smallest French speaking nation.
Monte Carlo, which lies in the French Riviera on the Mediterranean Sea in Monaco surrounded by France and close to Italy is known internationally as a playground for the rich and famous. It is widely known for its casinos, gambling, glamor, luxurious yachts and for sightings of wealthy businessmen and famous people.
We stayed in Le Roccabella a high rise building in Princess Grace Avenue beside Le Meridien Beach Plaza its close enough to the Mediterranean to touch its waters and feel the beauty of modern living. The world-renowned Monte Carlo Casino is a mere one kilometre away from the there. The Prince's Palace, where the Royal Family of Monaco reside, the Old Town, the Tropical Gardens and the Japanese Garden are all within two kilometres from this fascinating property.

Built in 1863 the casino is the amongst the famous tourist attractions in Monaco. As well as the casino and its private gaming rooms, the site also contains an opera and ballet house, restaurant and gardens. The interior features stained glass windows, sculptures, classic paintings and of course opulent bathrooms.

One of my favorite place...

Tourism is Monaco's main source of income and is one of the most expensive places to visit. Real estate in Monaco and Monte Carlo is also some of the most expensive in the world.

Motown founder, Berry Gordy talks about Michael Jackson

Monday night, Michael Jackson's elaborate, gold casket was open for viewing by family members at Forest Lawn Memorial-Park and Mortuary in Los Angeles. Tuesday, it was closed when presented to fans during the memorial tribute at the Staples Center. And now, as it awaits burial, the casket containing the King of Pop, who died June 25, sits in a temporary resting place – a Forest Lawn crypt belonging to Motown founder Berry Gordy, reports the New York Post.

He spoke at the memorial of Michael Jackson as a tribute to being one of the earliest and most successful of Motown musicians. He suggested that 'The King of Pop' was perhaps not the best description for Jackson in light of his achievements, rather calling him 'the greatest entertainer that has ever lived'.

Berry Gordy Jr was responsible for the formation of, arguably, the most influential Soul Music record label spanning the last 50years.
In the Los Angeles area Gordy lived in a Bel Air estate and highly valued his privacy, rarely dealing with the press. In late 1994 a plan was announced to make a tribute album to Gordy. Even though Gordy was often times hailed as an entrepreneur, he was first and foremost a song-writer. Singers who have signed on to sing some of Gordy's songs on the tribute album include Diana Ross, the Four Tops, the Temptations and Smokey Robinson.

Boris Becker married for the second time

It's been a while since I last posted here..Keeping three blogs is definitely hard but I am enjoying it...
Let me go back to the present time... And wishes the newlywed a long lasting happy marriage...

REWIND
Boris Becker, made the surprise proclamation on the show "You Bet…?", and the six-time Grand Slam singles champ proceeded to leap through a flaming heart of fire, says Reuters.
The news organization says that Becker and his girlfriend, model Lilly Kerssenberg, split up toward the end of 2007, and Becker then got engaged to a jewelry designer just a few months later.
"Last summer I went a bit off track but Lilly took me back," Becker explained on the TV show. "Now I don't want to let her go."

FAST FORWARD
June 12, 2009 St. Moritz, Switzerland - Boris Becker, 41, the German tennis legend whose clubbing lifestyle has kept him in the news, married Dutch model Lilly Kerssenberg in Switzerland on Friday at a wedding attended by 200 celebrities, close friends and family. For both, it was the second marriage.

Mrs. Elvira Becker the mother of Boris...I could say she is a very strong woman, during the three years of my stay with the family..Boris' parents were inseparable... Very supportive of their children and I could always picture the late Mr. Karl Heinz Becker a happy man...He would be surely proud of his son!

Sabine Becker...sister of Boris who made a name for herself as an architect just like his late father...I last saw her on her wedding day, I guessed that was December of 1996, a very sweet lady as far as I remember and still married to the same man.

Noah Gabriel Becker with his little brother Elias beside them is Karl and Kim Steeb, close friends of Boris Becker, they are very friendly and frequent visitors of the Beckers during my stay.

I love looking at this picture and I can't believe the little boy I have known is a grown up now...At 15 Noah looks exactly like her mother Barbara Becker... I have so many good memories with this gorgeous boy from three month old baby till he was three years old before I left Germany...

This is an old picture of Noah taken from one of our zoo trips... Such a sweet little boy! You are such an inspiration to me...And Tey will never ever forget you..never...
More posts to come!

Hamburg to Rome

Consolato Generale D'Italia
Amburgo
I remember acquiring my tourist visa from Hamburg when Boris Becker played tournament after tournament.

After savoring the smell of Munich's sweet air for a week, we got off to Hamburg..that was my first out of town trip in Germany.
It's good to recall the name of the hotel when I am reminded of James Bond movie Tomorrow Never Dies it's the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski Hamburg we have been here a few times.

I asked my sister to provide me some pictures and mementos from my old room back home..So my blog will look more real than just narrating a story which
may be some of my readers think was made up...

Right now I am looking at a very old passport...This is where i tracked all the details of my travels...Later on I could show it and make myself proud!

From Hamburg to Rome...
How was I to know that this will the the first ride on a private airplane and from there, it goes on and on...We stayed in The Westin Hotel Excelsior...My first taste of a first class hotel! Lucky girl!
From our room we had a nice view of restaurants and music overflowing at night...

My mom and I had a chance to wander around the area near the Spanish steps and bought t-shirts and souvenirs which cost thousands of liras...=)
I got colds maybe because of the weather, so unbelievable that Barbara took care of me... She lend me her Hermes scarf and wrapped it around my neck...Not knowing that scarf was so expensive!
This time I had the chance to know more some people who traveled with Boris Becker...
I shall go first with no other than Mr.Waldemar Kliesing...the Physio-therapist and a long time friend....
Back in the hotel we had some switching of the rooms, lucky us the room we got was much bigger which turned out to be his room.It was a suite and all the entourage we are occupying rooms adjacent to each other...Wal or Val as they call him...One charming guy a very good man indeed...
Waldemar is a very thoughtful person. There was a time when he handed me a Birkenstock catalog and asked me to choose the one i like...I thought he was selling me the stuff but it turns out to be a gift for me and my mom..How I wished I chose the expensive ones! Just kidding Wal...
So I got 2 Birkens from you and its back home. I keep it.
One time I complained to Barbara about my back pains and Wal attended to me...I know his services were expensive its good he lends it for free... and advise me to get a thorough check up to Dr. Hans Wilhem Muller-Wolfhart the great sports doctor and turns out fine...
Waldemar thank you for being so true friend...after a decade of not seeing you, I can feel your kindness...Still wish you all the best although you have it all... We were able to keep in touch last year... I could not believed that after so many years,I will be able to hear your voice again.
Hoping my own pictures will be added soon....

Next stop...Paris, France for Roland Garros French Open....

Munich, Germany

The first few days were totally amazing in the world where I was bound to get a new life....

MUNICH is the capital city of Bavaria, the largest federal state of Germany and one of Europe's most prosperous and expensive cities. Not only that I live with the Germany's most famous couple at that time but the chance to meet some personalities and travel the whole world...
I remember on my second day that mom asked me to buy rolls of bathroom tissue...she wrote down the direction where the nearest store was located...Holding that small piece of paper I was able to tracked down the grocery store i walked a few blocks...As I grabbed those stuff and paid it,i'm happy to be backed home. As I gave mom the plastic of tissues which turns out to be kitchen towel when she opened...I was speechless I thought they were just a couple of rolls...what an idiot...not even reading the package! well nobody's perfect...Admittedly that was a plain stupidity! My first time...so pardon me...

That evening I finally met Nick Bollettieri... according to his website "He is one of the most influential people in the world of tennis and a legend who has transcended the sport."
One thing I remember of him after 15 years...He was such a soft-spoken person, very calm indeed, such dignity in him...One time I had a chance to watched a tennis match of Boris, sun was shining I could hardly see, he offered me his Oakley Sunglasses...such a sweet man...
He never forget to give us a present that Christmas Nick and his partner gave me a sporty Swiss Army wrist watch....That was such a long long time ago, I still have it with me though...
Definitely its a part of me that I could always play and rewind....

Next post...Rome, Italy...

My First.....

There abides a point in our life that we try to make an account of our accomplishments. Furthermore what makes our life worth living for, through the years that converges along the way...

Past is worth remembering and sometimes forgetting...

And the present? Well, it goes on...simultaneously playing different notes with different tunes...

Sometimes we endow to fast forward life and think of what lies ahead... And ask who will dominate the next chapter of our journey...

As for me, life seems to be magical...
The ups and downs...
The sweetness and bitterness rolled in to one..
Allow me to share with you a short chapter of
MY SO CALLED LIFE...

Rewind....let me lead you to the year that brought on account, many exciting experiences and wonderful moments... to me along with my family as well...
Year 1994.... Munich, Germany

Following a long flight, I felt so nervous... seeing my mother for the first time in three years would be the most cherished moment that I have been waiting for.... I saw the big grin on her face. She absolutely looks like me, and you know what the first thing she told me after all the big hugs?"You never grew an inch since I last saw you..." Wow the first lines! I said "Mama, yes! I still stand 5'3" and perhaps will not grow taller at the age of 20"
Coming from a place that seems to be crowded and noisy. Now here I am to a whole new world that is so compose and serene and sublime...
As the taxi stop to an apartment, my heart beats so fast...so many questions in my mind... what do i have to say...how will i approach them...how will I react... Till mom knocks on the door...And from there...a gorgeous lady open the door looking and smiling at me...and give me a welcome hug... Well this is the moment...I can feel her being so warm and affectionate... she said "...just call me Barbara"

Then we proceed to a room, there in a little crib is a very charming three month old baby boy...Noah Gabriel... After a while following the small talks about the flight and all the stuff. There was a knocked on the door... Barbara open the door and then..I saw him...
The man standing in front of me with the smile on his face... and says "...Welcome! It's so nice to have you here with us...just call me Boris! Is this real? Meeting Mr. Boris Becker in person? Unbelievable yes it is....
There you are...
A man with a character! I finally meet the Becker's....
And so does my journey begins....
